  6. 6. Hellenistic Period Timeline Hellenistic Period started because of ended becauseAlexander the Great’s Greece became part death. (323 B.C.) of Rome. (146 B.C.) Advances were made in technology, architecture, philosophy and medicine. (235 B.C.)
