The Art Classes and Workshop
• The nonacademic art classes and
workshops are conducted in The Art
Museum of Greater Lafayette.
• The workshops are conducted on
weekends and have entry fees of $20 -
$100
• Workshops are basic level.
• Workshops are not continuous learning
workshops.
• Art League offers a scholarship who are
interested in receiving a certificate in a
particular art field.

The Audience, Setting, and Context
• Workshops are conducted for adult
people of WL and Lafayette
• Classrooms are technology free and
conducted on weekends
• The oral presentation was provided
before the hands-on activities
• One certified instructor facilitates the
class of 10-12 participants
• Inquiry requests and the number of
participants in each workshop motivate
whether to add or remove the
workshop

Role of Adult Education
• Goal – provide opportunities to the adult and adult young people of West Lafayette and Lafayette
to the exposure of different art involvement and promote art culture.
• Kolb’s experiential learning model
