which passes instructions down through an
executive management group.
 Each of the departments is divided into smaller
units.
 Google has developed a corporate culture based
on giving employees substantial leeway to
develop new ideas without excessive oversight.

  • 2.  Organizational function is a core process within an organization.  It is a set of activities carried out within a department of a company.
  • 3.  Best-known and most admired company around the world.  Mission: “To organize the world’s information and to make it universally acceptable and useful.”  Vision:“To provide access to the world’s information in one click.”

  • 5.  Existence of a few unique leadership positions such as Chief Culture Officer and Chief Internet Evangelist.  The company is overseen by a board of directors, which passes instructions down through an executive management group.  Each of the departments is divided into smaller units.  Google has developed a corporate culture based on giving employees substantial leeway to develop new ideas without excessive oversight.
