  4. 4. How has a variety of tone be created?
  5. 5. Henri Rousseau  French Post impressionist painter  His inspiration came from illustrations in books and gardens in Paris: “When I go into the glass houses and I see the strange plants of exotic lands, it seems to me that I enter into a dream."  He had also met soldiers, during his term of service, who had survived the French expedition to Mexico and listened to their stories of the subtropical country they had encountered  The Painting below is ‘In a Tropical Forest. Task *All – will have completed drawings inspired by the Artist Rousseau and thought about and added camouflage, pattern and texture in the work. *Most – Will have added textures and patterns and also could use colouring pencils to do so *Some – will have reviewed, annotated and developed their drawings. Think about a title for your piece.
