  4. 4. 410.1 DISTRIBUTION THROUGH CD Compact Disc – Read Only Memory (CD- ROM) is a basic hardware in a multimedia computer system. CD technology increase the capacity in storing and retrieving data. Long time ago, floppy disc was the main media exchange tools but now CD-ROM has exceed its capability. CD-ROM has made the storing and retrieving process easier and faster with higher capacity comparing to the floppy disc.
  5. 5. 510.1 DISTRIBUTION THROUGH CD (cont) Advantages of CD-ROM:  Speed  Capacity Itcan store data such as audio, video, text, graphic, animation and etc. Floppy disc only 1.44MB. CD-ROM can be up to 800MB
