How many people use Facebook? Twitter? Watch YouTube videos? How about Pinterest? Greatest advantage -- as humans, and women, we are naturally concerned about other people. This is the easiest way to keep up with everyone. Worries -- totally public. Doesn’t replace real relationships, just a tool to stay connected. Need to be responsible.
We’re going to walk through each of these tools, how the Association uses them, and how your operation can, too!
On Facebook page: show them all the basics of the new Timeline. How to post a status update, create an event, write a note. Talk about the photo contest -- ways to keep users engaged, but not overwhelmed.
Show how to post a tweet, send a direct tweet, retweet, search #hashtags, Twitter chat groups, access lists, edit a profile.
Show how to upload, embed, email and share a video. Talk about subscribing to channels.
Show them what pins and boards are. Install the “pin it” button on your toolbar. Re-pin, customize boards, search for Angus content. Show all the categories.
