This document discusses a study on the effectiveness of talent management practices in the hotel industry in Croatia. The study involved interviews with HR managers and general managers at hotels. The interviews explored practices around recruitment and selection, performance management, retention, performance measurement, and benefits/challenges of talent management. Results showed that retention of talent, measurement of employee performance, and benefits of talent management were areas of strength, while recruitment and objectives setting could be improved. The conclusion recommends a strategic focus on talent management processes going forward to develop strengths and address weaknesses.
