Enceladus main design features
1. Functional versatility: It is designed to fulfill multiple functions, such as transportation and assembly of base elements on
the lunar or Martian surface.
2. Adaptive suspension system: Its legs allow it to adapt to various terrains and act as an active suspension, enabling it to
overcome significant obstacles and uneven terrain.
3. Isolated power unit: The power unit that stores the batteries is isolated to withstand the low temperatures of the Moon,
ensuring its operation in extreme conditions.
4. Auxiliary solar panel system: It features an auxiliary solar panel system to increase its energy autonomy, providing a
renewable energy source.
5. Hybrid transporter and crane configuration: It combines the functionality of a transporter and a crane, making it versatile
for moving modules of different sizes and various loads.
6. Habitat loading system: It incorporates a lower loading arch that unfolds to load the habitat, simplifying the lifting process
without the need to mount additional equipment on the habitat.
7. Compact design: It has been optimized to occupy minimal space when folded, facilitating its transport and launch on
rockets.
8. Advanced control system: It uses interconnected vision and control systems with a central computer to ensure precise and
efficient operation, including autonomous driving functions and a torque vectoring control system.
9. Transport capacity: It can transport loads of up to 100,000 kg on the surface of Mars or the Moon.
