VMOSA helps your organization set and achieve short term goals while keeping sight of your long term vision. • Vision: • Easy to communicate, understood and shared by members of the community • Inspiring and uplifting to everyone involved in your effort • Mission: • Defines what the group is going to do, and why it's going to do that • Explains the overarching outcomes your organization is working to achieve.

VMOSA Statements 6 • Objectives: • Refer to specific measurable results for the initiative's broad goals. • Strategies: • Explain how the initiative will reach its objectives • Action Plan: • Describes what change will happen based on the 5W2H methodology What? About the KPIs? • Definition of the Performance Indicators for all activities in the Workflow • Selection of Critical Activities that have the biggest impact on your goals and/or can create key bottlenecks (the real KPIs) • How to measure (frequency and accuracy) • Who is responsible to measure 4.
