What should i do with my high school graduation cap and gown after i graduate

  1. 1. What Should I Do with My High School Graduation Cap and Gown after I Graduate? The day of graduation is filled with pride not only for the graduates who have persevered to gainthe rite of passage but for their families and friends as well who have supported the graduates intheir endeavors. It is also a day of celebration that one chapter of the students’ educational life isfinally over and they are ready to begin a new level, thus the term commencement. From the time the graduates walk down the aisle to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance” to therecessional march, the sentimental air does not seem to waiver. The jovial sentiment extendseven many days after graduation as farewells, thank you’s, and welcomes are said. After the spirit of good cheer dies down, many graduates are left with the question of what to dowith their graduation ensemble as it is only to be worn once. There are two general options ofwhat to do with your graduation cap and gown, as follows: 1) Return it. This is the only option that you can take if you have rented your graduation cap and gown. Do not dilly-dally in returning the graduation ensemble as fines can be charged on a per day basis. Never entertain the thought of keeping the cap and gown as souvenir because many rentals have connections to your school administration and your certificate of good moral character as well as other credentials can be held. 2) Store it. For those who have bought their cap and gown, you have the privilege of making the ensemble part of your graduation memorabilia. Make sure to store it properly by putting it in a plastic case or getting a special box solely for the purpose. You can place clothe deodorants and chemicals to keep the moisture from your cap and gown, causing molds and mildew. You can then take your graduation attire from time to time to reminisce the past. Some even wear their graduation ensemble to high school reunions. You will never know when the attire will come in handy such as if your kids decide to go to your school or during costume parties.
