Hace ya tres años, para entidades de MAPFRE de pequeño tamaño (Costa Rica, Malta, El salvador, Paraguay, Nicaragua) se implementan los Servicios de Desarrollo, Integración y Oficina 0 de TronWeb en Amazon. Posteriormente se utiliza también para: o Servicios de Actualización de Versiones. o Transferencia de archivos de volumen. o Mantenimiento de modelos del Sistema TronWeb para todos los países. o Backups temporales. Aporta:  Velocidad  Ahorro  Sencillez  Mayor Control  Confianza. Todo esto supone importantes ahorros, especialmente en infraestructura y viajes, que oscilan, en función de la complejidad de las implantaciones, entre treinta mil y ciento cincuenta mil euros por instalación en comparación con el coste en Amazon: entre mil doscientos y cinco mil euros anuales. Para estos servicios se ha preparado un desarrollo muy simple utilizando el API de Amazon que permite al equipo de soporte subir y bajar los servidores durante los periodos de inactividad para reducir costes (los equipos se apagan a las 20 horas locales si no detectan actividad y se levantan bajo demanda del primer usuario que los necesita). También se implementa un sistema de avisos sobre el estado de las aplicaciones (espacio, cpu, etc). Octubre 2013

El propósito del proyecto es generar los cálculos de solvencia exigidas por la normativa europea a partir de los datos de las proyecciones de corrientes de vida, fallecimiento, primas, gastos de administración, comisiones y anulaciones. Necesidad de un plataforma tecnológica con capacidades específicas de rápido tratamiento analítico y de bajo coste. Se propone la adopción (como plataforma que dé respuesta a la necesidad de VIDA) de una solución consistente en ejecutar Oracle Coherence sobre Instancias EC2 de Amazon WEB Services. Octubre 2013
  83. 83. El objetivo de un Sistema de Proyecciones es el cálculo de una serie de derechos y obligaciones tanto de la compañía como del cliente. El procedimiento se implementa de la siguiente forma: • Establecer un horizonte temporal (acordado / estimado). • Calcular todas las posibles contingencias (Corrientes de Cálculo o Flujos Probables). Para cada una se establece una periodicidad de cálculo (mensual en nuestro caso). De estos datos obtenemos el importe de Provisión Matemática que la compañía debe tener a fecha de cálculo para cubrir cualquier contingencia. Base de Cálculo general, 12 millones de Asegurados: 6 de asegurados directos y otros tantos de compañías participadas. Octubre 2013

El objetivo de la POC es comparar el comportamiento en AMAZON y en EXALOGIC del programa de cálculo de flujos probable desarrollado en JAVA y desplegado en Coherence Data Grid para su ejecución en paralelo. Esta PRUEBA fue inicialmente PREPARADA en Febrero de 2012 a partir de una versión simplificada del cálculo de provisión en COBOL y C que se ejecutaba en el Mainframe con una duración aproximada de CINCO DIAS. En esta POC se han realzado varios ejercicios, con diferentes configuraciones. Aquí se presentan los mejores resultados de cada caso. El software utilizado:  Sistema Operativo Linux  Software: Oracle Coherence 3.7.1.0 sobre JRE jrockit-jdk1.6.0_29 Octubre 2013

Cada nodo contiene: o 88 ECU sobre 32 núcleos virtuales (32 virtual CPUS) o 244 GB RAM. • Características: o o o o o o Instancias montadas en cluster (10 Gigabit ethernet network). Escritura en discos de alto IOPS (high performance for I/O intensive workloads). 8 procesos de coherence por instancia (nodo de cómputo) Configuración de la red en Unicast. Salida de Datos comprimida. Uso de EC2AddressProvider para descubrimiento automático de nodos en cluster unicast.
