Development of appleby street

  1. 1. Development of Appleby Street Appelby Street Development
  2. 2. Initial plot of the play• Initially our film was shot through Jacob’ point of view. Like a Paranormal activity shot.• Whilst filming problems frequently occurred. We was not able to get the effects we initially thought we was going to gain. We then changed it to Jacob taking up the role of camera man so we could get more shots involved in our 2 minutes, as we were limited with point of view shots.
  3. 3. • This also gave us the ability for the auidence to have a better aspect of what the film was going to contain after the 2 minutes. Because initially we was going to have all 3 characters dying.• Then I came to a conclusion that if Jacob would have died, the film was from his point of view so there would not be the ability for the film to carry on.
  4. 4. Plot• As Jacob was initially in the film, we then had to change part of the script, We was all going to be killed whilst departing Jacob as he went to the toilet, it then got changed to Aimee receiving a phone call and saying “walk on”.• From this we took advantage and changed it so the last shot was the killer walking of so there symbolizes a chain of events for the storyline to carryon.
  5. 5. Problems occurred• The problems occurred were that it was really dark, and the torch we had was dim and we could not get the effect on the picture we optimistically deemed.• We took this positively as we are going to analyse where we went wrong to make a better overall film.
