  • Walmart - the world's leading retailer using Alteryx in many areas including Strategic Real Estate where they have build sophisticated gravity models to help optimize the performance of real estate assets and the capital expenditures that drive store development.  They also use Alteryx in Space Allocation to ensure the appropriate 'in store' mix of departmental footprints match the store trade area demand so floor space financial performance is maximized.  Next they use Alteryx in a group called 'The store of the Community' where Alteryx manipulates many disparate databases to assist in local merchandising efforts at the store level.  Finally, Alteryx is used in Strategic Finance for all store post audit activity to measure the financial effect resulting from activities such as price changes, media spend, competitive activity, store refurbishments, signage changes, etc.
