  2. 2.  Cancer is the name of more than 100 diseases. In which cells in a certain part of the body begin to grow out of control.
  3. 3.  Did you know that lung cancer is responsible for the most cancer deaths in both men and women threw out the world?. Lung cancer occurs when there is uncontrolled cell growth in one or both lungs. Instead of the cells developing into normal healthy lung tissue, the cells continue dividing and form lumps/masses of tissue called tumors. The tumor interferes with the function of the lung, and that is to provide the blood stream with oxygen threw out the whole body. If the tumor stays in one spot and shows limited growth it is generally considered to begin.
  4. 4.  The main thing that causes lung cancer is SMOKING! The other main thing that gives you lung cancer is if you have a family member that has it.
  5. 5.  Studies have shown that lung cancer may , be hereditary. The only other was you can get lung cancer is if you have a family member that has had lung cancer.
  6. 6.  When the cells start to spread and use more of the body’s energy it is possible to get the following symptoms that may also be associated with many other ailments: Fever Fatigue Unexpected weight loss Problems with brain function and memory Swelling in the neck or face General weakness Bleeding or blood clots
  7. 7.  According to my research the only/main reason you can get lung cancer is if you SMOKE! DID you know that tobacco use has killed 1 billion people in the 21 century . In china 2,000 people die because they smoke.
  8. 8.  The one main risk thar lung cancer has is DEATH. Remember lung cancer can kill you. When a person has lung cancer test are done to determine what type lung cancer they have and what the stage of the disease is.
  9. 9.  Yes ,there are different stages in lung cancer. There is stage 1(the earliest stage) Stage 2-3 And stage 4
  10. 10.  Did you know that lung cancer is in the top 7 for being the deadliest type of cancer? Usually people who die of lung cancer is because they smoke. Lung cancer is responsible for 1.3 million deaths worldwide.
  11. 11.  Myproject connects with the standards 9a and 4c because threw out my project I talk about how the lungs work and what they do and because I think that if you get lung cancer and you don’t smoke it may be because of a mutation?
