Allen Scott started his career in construction as an Apprentice Sheet Metal worker in

communities of Newport Beach down to Laguna Beach. In need of more creativity he
decided to go to school for Architecture where he began working for a local Architect
working on Commercial Real Estate Design throughout the Southern California region.
In 2008 Allen moved to the Silicon Valley working for a Commercial General Contractor
as a PM where he worked on various commercial properties building a notable network
of clients and colleagues. In 2011 Allen started his own construction company where he
worked on projects ranging from OSHPIII, Commercial TI’s, and Residential Remodels.
During the recession in 2011 things slowed down and Allen took a job working as a
Superintendent for a Silicon Valley Developer/Contractor. It was here that he built
ground up construction projects, Retail TI’s, Class A office space and Industrial TI’s,
While working as a Superintendent the opportunity to work as a Development PM for
Tesla Motors arose. At Tesla Allen managed the Design and Implementation of a $40
million press designed in Italy, shipped, and installed in Fremont. He also installed 24
subgrade docks as a design build project in a 10 week duration from start to finish. In
anticipation of the highly publicized Model “S” production line being opened, the
Engineering group reached out to Allen to help deliver 7 power Panels, 5 Transformers,
9 Superchargers and 41 car chargers as a design build project in a 6 week period from
start to finish. In addition to the electrical side, the logistics group tasked Allen to bring
in 7 Railroad lanes and adjustable car ramps for exporting cars to Europe. Allen Also was
afforded the opportunity to work with the R&D group responsible for the Tesla
Stationary Storage system and delivered 10 prototype Stationary Storage systems at the
front of the plant which retained electrical energy from the grid at non-peak times and
delivered energy to the plant during peak production times which lowered Tesla’s
Carbon footprint and was the initial design that helped launch the new Tesla Powerwall
system available for business and residential applications.
From Tesla, Allen was afforded the opportunity to join CBRE as a Capital Project
Manager for the Cisco account where he currently works.
