Allen School Medical Assistant Kim Ebanks - Testimonial

  1. 1. Kim Ebanks Medical Assistant Graduation: November 2011 Hello, my name is Kim Ebanks a former student of the Allen School for Medical Assistant. Presently I am employed by Carl Anderson MD (Internal Medicine) of Staten Island NY, re- ferred by Career Services staff James Delaney. My experience at the Allen School has changed my life tremendously and giving me the opportunity to become independent andthe ability to provide for myself and my family. If only I knew what I know now I would have made the decisionlong before now. I started working as a full time Medical Assistant two months before my actual graduation inJune of 2011 and have worked my way up by an increase in salary after three months and have become AssistingManager six month after I started in April of 2011. I am not only a Medical Assistant, I am also a mother of fourloving children who give me all the reason to make a name for myself, I am not just Kim Ebanks; I am Kim theMedical Assistant. I am now able to hold my head up for my family and the people around me. I have gained asense of self respect that no one can take away. Before I started school I felt like my life had no direction; nothingto look forward too and I had lost all hope for a brighter future. Now my life is full of great opportunities, I havea developed self-worth and I am able to help make a difference in the lives of others as well. The greatestachievement over all is the opportunity that this school has given me; the knowledge and power to take control ofmy life. I want to express my appreciation to all that had faith in me during my time in school by saying sim-ply to all. Thank you. My life has changed for the better. Title: Carl Anderson, MD Title: MA & Assisting Manager
