4. Speed Dating… select appropriate books for the age group from a number of
genres… 5 minutes to get to know your „date‟, rate your date then rotate to the next
table to repeat the process. After 4 „dates‟ give students an opportunity to have a
second date if they want to. (Many come back to borrow the books the next day.)
Rating sheets are analysed for a display of “Hot Dates” the next week.
