On Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 3:00 am, Guardian sent an alert to the Algorithm Help Desk that the internet at Boehm was down. Upon investigation, Boehm found that someone had broken in (at 3:00 am) and stolen all of their copper wire. AT&T was able to replace the wires and get Boehm back online later that weekend.
What if Guardian hadn't been watching? Jonda and the rest of Boehm would have arrived on Monday morning without a clue that their network was down and without access to any of their business critical systems.
Located in Columbus, Ohio, Boehm's full custom design and production service delivers world class equipment, supplies and outstanding technical and customer service.
Boehm decided to implement Guardian in early 2011 to boost the overall performance of their network, mitigate server and application downtime, and pass off the cumbersome task of IT support and maintenance to Algorithm's team of experts. Guardian is now monitoring Boehm's entire network 24 hours a day.
"Algorithm knows our ERP system. If you go out and shop around for other managed services, they do a great job all the way up to your ERP systems. Then, it's up to somebody else. If I have a problem, I know who to call - Algorithm. And there isn't any of the finger pointing that occurs when you have multiple software vendors."
Guardian is a cloud-based application that allows Algorithm's helpdesk to remotely monitor the health of customers' network and servers. Guardian contains over 200 metrics that it is continuously monitoring to ensure that your IT infrastructure is operating at an optimal level. Guardian allows your staff to focus on higher value projects rather than time consuming IT support.
Guardian also has specific metrics for Macola® ES and VineyardSoft's KnowledgeSync (Event Manager). Click on the links below to learn about the variety of ways Guardian can help your organization. Learn more about Guardian at http://www.algorithminc.com/solutions/ns-guardian-monitoring.php
