Alexandre is an economist (PUC-SP) and anthropologist (USP), with a MSc on Economic Development, Territory and Environment (Unicamp University), Brazil. He's been working since 1994, specially in the Amazon Rainforest (but also in the Atlantic Rainforest, Cerrado and Caatinga regions of Brazil), with indigenous people and traditional populations (extractivists, seringueiros, quilombolas etc).
