  90. 90. Now to put it all together with out food Unit. When talking about food we use : Ser: Use ser to talk about a foods characteristic. Something that food always is. For example when saying ice cream is good. In general, to you, ice cream is good. It might not be for others but that is beside the point. Ice cream in general is good: El helado es delicioso If someone did not like it they could say: El helado no es delicioso or El helado es malo. Estar: Use estar to talk about what a food is like at that moment. Maybe you like pizza but the pizza you are eating is salty. La pizza está salada. Let’s say you didn’t like tacos because they were spicy, but today they aren’t spicy so they are delicious. Los tacos no están picantes, están deliciosos.
