2. Program/Objectives
Program:
• MLSE interns will participate in a TFC ticket sales competition
• Proceeds will go to the MLSE foundation to support “Right to Play” via PLAYPROGRAM
• All tickets will be priced at $58 with $5 going toward MLSE foundation in support of the
PLAYPROGRAM - $53 group rate (light grey)
• Prizes will be offered to the top two performing teams, as well as prizes for the top two
performers
Objectives:
• To sell 680 TFC (black) tickets for August 29th vs. Montreal Impact
• 34 total interns: 6 teams of 5 members and 1 team of 4 members (20 tickets per intern)
• Teams of 5 will be encouraged to sell 100 tickets
• Teams of 4 will be encouraged to sell 80 tickets
3. Strategies/Tactics
Strategies:
• Two hour training session run by a senior TFC sales member outlining strategies, targets,
tracking and delivery
- Email and phone call outlines will be discussed in training session
• Posters including: TFC, MLSE, MLSE foundation and “Right to play” logo’s; distributed to all
intern teams. Call-to-action is on the bottom, will include space for individuals emails
Tactics:
• Order form to be presented to customer with discount code for the buyer
• Use discount code online and purchase tickets for $58 ($5 going to “Right to Play”)
• To intensify/promote competition, weekly reports of updated sales will be sent out by Evan.
• Social media and advertising will be affiliated with MLSE website
• Any larger group sales, 10+ will be sent to Evan, which he will include your discount code.
• All tickets will come with free admission to the CNE

Intern Benefits:
• Integrate annual project to engage interns while creating a network (peers, professional
business associates)
• In field sales experience: will allow interns to gain valuable knowledge of the proper selling
process, valuable addition to resume as well as learning time management, decision making
and adequate communication skills.

Incentives:
• Top team with highest amount of tickets will receive a box suite to an available game.
• Top Individual with highest ticket sales will receive lunch or dinner with Director or VP of
department and signed TCF jersey (TBD)
• Second place team will receive 8-10 upper bowl tickets ( Team size depending)
• Second place individual will receive two free lower bowl tickets or one signed TFC jersey
• Participation prize: Every intern will receive a complimentary ticket, complimentary food
voucher and drink/beer voucher
