  3. 3. Sign in to your google account.
  4. 4. Click this.

  6. 6. Google drive provides 15GB free storage.
  7. 7. You can see how your storage are used from here.
  8. 8. Google drive backs up your files in the cloud.
  9. 9. Let’s click new.
  10. 10. Let’s create a folder.
  11. 11. Type the name of the folder and click create.
  12. 12. Click file upload to upload a file.
  13. 13. Select the file you want to upload and click open.
  14. 14. You can see this while uploading.
  15. 15. This is the file I uploaded.
  16. 16. Let’s change the view settings to list.
  17. 17. Here is how a list view looks like.
  18. 18. Let’s drag the file to the folder.
  19. 19. The file is now inside the folder.
  20. 20. Let’s upload a folder. Click this.
  21. 21. Select the folder you want to upload and click ok.
  22. 22. This is the folder I uploaded.
  23. 23. The file shared to you can be seen under “Shared with me”.
  24. 24. Go to recent section to see the file you recently modified.
  25. 25. Right click the file and click the “add star”.
  26. 26. Click the starred section to see the starred file.
  27. 27. Let’s right click this file, then select remove.
  28. 28. The file that you removed goes to the Trash section.
  29. 29. Right click the file.You can either restore or delete forever.
  30. 30. You can see this warning. Let’s click delete forever.
  31. 31. Click Trash then Empty trash.
  32. 32. You will see this warning. Let’s click Empty Trash.
  33. 33. Click Google photos to see your backed up photos and videos.
  34. 34. I usually use my cellphone to take photos.
  35. 35. The photos and videos take up much space.
  36. 36. To solve this, download the google photos app on your cellphone.
  37. 37. I’m using an IOS phone in this tutorial.

  39. 39. You can see your pictures once you click on the app.

  42. 42. Set the upload size to High Quality (free unlimited storage)
  43. 43. Google automatically backs up your pictures and videos on google drive.
  44. 44. You can take unlimited pictures and videos with your phone.
  45. 45. It won’t be taken against your 15 Gb limit.
  46. 46. If your picture is higher than 16 megapixel,
  47. 47. Google converts it to 16 megapixel.
  48. 48. If your video is more than 1080p,
  49. 49. Google converts it to 1080p.
  50. 50. Once your pictures and videos are backed up on google drive,
  51. 51. You can free up space on your phone.

  68. 68. View: People can see, but can’t change or share the file with others.
  69. 69. Comment: People can make comments and suggestions, but can’t change or share file with others.
  70. 70. Edit: People can make changes, accept or reject suggestions, and share file with others.
  71. 71. You can give other people link to your file, no sign in required.
  72. 72. Right click this file and see the options.

  90. 90. Right click this folder and click share.

  93. 93. Select what people can do with the folder.
