nationwide average. Among foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in following major distribution areas, those
enterprises in Shandong realized the highest rate of return on assets, and those in Inner Mongolia achieved the lowest ROAs. Those foreign-
funded and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in Shandong realized a ROA of 27.6% in 2010, 17.8% higher than the nationwide average,
