Julius Caesar was born on 12 July 100 BC at
Suburra in Italy.
Julius Caesar was a renowned general, politician
and scholar in ancient Rome who conquered the vast
region of Gaul and helped to initiate the end of the
Roman Republic when he became dictator of the
Roman Empire.
Despite his brilliant military prowess, his political
skills and his popularity with Rome’s lower – and
middle- class was very good. His rule was cut short by
his own opponents who were threatened by his rising
power and at that moment Marcus Junius Brutus had
brutally assassinated him.
As Julius Caesar was one of the most prominent
leader in history he had conquered THE
ROMAN EMPIRE in 117 A.D. including France,
Belgium, Luxembourg and part of both
Switzerland and Netherlands.
Early in his career, he fought tribal coalitions in
Portugal but he was not the senior commander
during that campaign.
JULIUS CAESAR rose through the ranks to
become consul of Rome in 59 B.C.
He was the most powerful leader or a kind heart
man in the Roman Republic.
His greatest military achievement is considered
his Conquest of Gaul and then he considered as
one of the greatest military commander in History.
His most famous reform is the introduction of the
JULIAN CALENDER.
He wielded his power to enlarge the senate,
created needed government reforms & decreased
Rome’s citizen debts.
At the same time, he sponsored the building of
the Forum Lilium and rebuilt two city-states,
CARTHAGE & CORINTH for the foreign citizen
only granted by him to live in Roman Republic.
He taught us that; Presentation Matters.
