Work Experience :
1. Currently working as a Head of Supply Chain & Procurement for SCHLUMBERGER (Smith
International Gulf Services) since June 2010 till date.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire Supply Chain functions: Inventory Control, Purchasing, Import/Export
Transactions, Sales Order Processing, 3rd Party Warehouse Management, track incoming & out
going service delivery levels.
• Identified, developed and implemented effective sourcing strategies, material planning,
purchasing (local & international), transportation, warehousing and inventory management.
• Assorting and Developing new vendors/suppliers who can supply best quality material with very
good services and at most competitive rates.
• Prepared and implemented purchasing policy and laid down the procedures to be followed for
smooth flow of materials and services in the company.
• Sourcing material for various offshore / onshore Oil and Gas Projects in co-ordination with
Project Engineers.
• Negotiate with key suppliers on contract issues as required in order to ensure best value
purchasing terms are obtained. Also Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers in order
to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process.
• Identifying bottleneck suppliers and preparing a contingency plan in case of Non-Performance.
• Maintain Supplier Evaluation based on supply KPI’s (On Time Delivery, Efficient Pricing,
Quality Products & Stability)
• Monitor and report upon supplier performance, liase with quality assurance on supplier status,
produce monthly reporting on all of the above as required by Managing Director.
• Interface with suppliers, attend regular supplier meeting to monitor service, cost and proposing
corrective actions where required.
• Support and lead strategic sourcing teams, logistics, inventory management / warehouse in all
the aspects of Supply Chain Management.
• Submission of Monthly Procurement Status report to Senior Management.
• Lead logistics services that include supplies planning, distribution, order processing, document
control, shipment delivery and information systems for the purpose of achieving smooth work
flow, cost effectiveness, total compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
• Responsible for bringing Cost Optimization in Procurement and Logistics by competent
negotiations.
• Review MIS Reports on Annual Cost Savings in Procurement, Logistics and Inventory

• Monitor and control inventory as per the group stocking policy and ensure timely processing of
purchase Orders.
• Setting up Min / Max levels for Fast Moving SKU’s based on sales history and demand analysis
and make sure that they are available in right quantity. Review MRP Reports
• Generating reports for Age Stock and support Sales Team in liquidation of Slow & Non Moving
Stock.
• Ensure Cycle Counts are being conducted in order to eliminate reasons for discrepancies.
• Ensures client delivery commitments are being met through appropriate planning.
• Managing complete Order to Delivery Cycle for all the customer orders and taking necessary
steps for any unexpected delays.

• Successful in saving $ 1 Million through effective negotiation with vendors in a time period

• Successfully brought down Slow Moving Inventory from $ 600,000 to $ 150,000,
2. Worked as a Senior Officer – Inventory Control, since November 2008 till May 2010 in Engineer’s
Office – Non-Profitable Government Organization.
Job Responsibilities:
• Controlling inventory of over 16 warehouses across UAE.
• Evaluates inventory levels and notifies purchasing agent when reorders are necessary.
• Maintains records, replenishes stock, and plans for future requirements based on orders,
production schedules and forecasts.
• Supervise, direct and monitor planning of inventory to meet demand plans, and maintaining
quick response replenishment process in order to lower costs and improve efficiency and product
availability in warehouses for production and site requirement.
• Managing Site Stores stock in terms of stock accountability, site stock requirement.
• Monitor warehouse operations related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of
products, parts, and materials.
• Training stores staff on ERP and Inventory Norms for career enhancement & Inventory
Accuracy.
• Ensuring that annual stock takes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
• Producing the discrepancy report and analyzing the reasons for discrepancies.
• Taking preventive measures to eradicate the reasons for Inventory Discrepancies.

and updating of Inventory figures.

3. Worked as a Snr. Inventory Controller from October 2005 till September 2008 in Al Sayegh Brothers
Trading sole distributors for LG, Olympus, XM, Palson & Royal London for U.A.E. & Qatar.
Job Responsibilities:
• Receiving Purchase Requisitions from all Divisional Managers analyzing the same and forwarding
it to the suppliers.
• Co-Ordinating with Suppliers and Logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries at the warehouse.
• Receiving pre-alerts for inbound shipments and inform the Floor Incharge in a timely manner,
thereby enabling the effective allocation of warehouse space.
• Planning, organizing and forecasting the inventory in co-ordination with Product Managers.
• Advising Product Managers on minimizing inventory carrying cost and reorder levels.
• Reconciling inventory valuation with general ledger on monthly basis.
• Replenishing the stock of all the showrooms as per Retail Procurement Manager instructions
through Orion System. (Location Transfer)
• Handling inventory of over 24 outlets all over UAE.
• Conducting surprise visits at all the showrooms for Perpetual Inventory Count.
• Scrutinize the discrepancies and focus on the key points of discrepancies to eradicate.
• Preparing a Stock Reconciliation Sheet and forwarding to Higher Management for approvals.
• Sending sales report to all the consignment stock suppliers on weekly basis and reconciling their
stock.
• Lead forecast and inventory planning meetings with Marketing Managers, reviewing recommended
sales forecasts and inventory goals (emphasis new product introduction, and promotions).
• Preparing Stock Aging Reports through Orion system and forwarding the same to all the Divisional
Managers as a pop-up.
• Analyzing Stock Aging Reports and preparing a summarize report as requested in order to highlight
slow and non-moving items and liquidate the same through proper planning.
• Analyze the dead stock and arrange for bid buyers to liquidate the same as approved by higher
management.
• Reconciling the sales and stock report for the stock given on consignment basis.
• Conducting perpetual inventory count on monthly basis at the warehouse to avoid annual stock
discrepancies.
• Responsible for annual inventory count at all the showrooms and warehouses.
• Plan and organize regular stock takes in all retail outlets and warehouses and ensure external
auditor’s requirements are met.
3. Worked as Warehouse Manager from Oct 2001-2005 in United Supplies Est. one of the leading suppliers in the
U.A.E. supplying Sanitary wares, Ceramic Tiles, Building Chemicals, Glass Blocks, and Wooden Doors etc

management.
