Mixed groups
The students will play some games in order to: create a positive group atmosphere,
break down social and cultural barriers and help people to get to know each other and
create stories.

Workshop 1 - Developing your Digital Story
- How to Develop a Digital Story;
- Procedure and Tools;
- Storyboarding - How to create a storyboard?

AGENDA:
2.1 09:00H Workshop 2 - Practical activities
- Pre-writing: brainstorming, collecting images, researching, outlining, and storyboarding.
- Drafting: creating a script and developing form;
- Revising: modifying images and organization;
- Editing: timing, images, and narration;
- Publishing: the final product
Team work: the students will develop activities monitored by teachers in groups

2.2 14:30H- 17:00H Cultural Heritage Day; ‘Coimbra in stories’ - mixed groups visit cultural heritage sites
around Coimbra and gather material for digital storytelling, which will be made via
eTwinning platform as a post-meeting activity.
Groups will visit:
Mosteiro Santa Clara-a-Velha (culturacentro.gov.pt) (1€ each)
Quinta das Lágrimas - Wikipedia (3€ each)
Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova - Wikipedia
* Students are invited to prepare in advance and before coming to Portugal some research about Coimbra.

- Arts and craft activities supervised by art teachers;
- Paint your story.
Students will try to tell a story or a special moment of their lives by painting or drawing
something that symbolizes it.
- Building a panel (sentences and phrases about the project, everyone’s hands - group
photo);
