● Constructed a new fifth order five stage 5(5) and a new fourth order four stage 4(4) diagonally
implicit runge kutta method to solve initial value problems of ordinary differential equations.
● Solved for its local truncation error and error constant as well.
● Determined its region of absolute stability using mathematical software called MATHEMATICA.
● Implemented the fifth order five stage 5(5) and also the fourth order four stage 4(4) runge kutta
kutta method to the method on a test problem using MATLAB.

3. ● Analyzed and compared the numerical solution of the fourth order four stage 4(4) as well as
fifth order five stage 5(5) runge numerical solution of its exact solution.
