The past few months have been pretty challenging. Highlights
have included the Melbourne Motor Show, reveal of the all-new
Holden Cruze and Sportwagons five star safety rating. We've
also encountered struggling global economic conditions and
the resulting volume decline in our local and export markets.
Most recently, we took the hard but sensible decision to revert
to a single shift with two alternating crews to protect jobs in
Elizabeth.
Tough times create opportunities for people and
i organisations willing to think and act in new ways. There's no
doubt that 2009 will be a difficult year for us, and it's going to
take time for the Australian economy and global markets to
recover. Were reinventing Holden and aligning capacity with
demand. We've taken other cost cutting measures including
a pay cut and stopping of bonuses for executives and senior
managers and a pay freeze for all salaried workers. These
were all difficult but necessary decisions.
Amid the day-to-day banter in the media about the
survivability of our parent company and what's going wrong
here and abroad, there are actually more things going right
that should reassure us. For example, we couldn't ask for
stronger partnership from the Federal and State Governments
which is helping us and our local industry colleagues adapt to
a changing marketplace, grow, and remain key contributors
to the national economy. Most significantly, our new fuel
efficient four cylinder small car that we'll build in Elizabeth
next year alongside our best-selling Commodore is a strong
symbol of Holden's future. Just on that point - Commodore is
still Australia's most popular car, and don't let people tell you
othenwise. We have a technology runway for the car intended
to keep it there as well.
Staying positive about the business has never been more
important. Let's keep the passion burning and leverage it to do
what's right for our customers and Holden's long-term success.
We have to show some patience while the world sorts itself
out. Thanks for your hard work and determination.
M a r k R e u s s
Chairman and Managing Director
To say that times are tough is to state the obvious to a group
of people who are experiencing these challenges first hand,
wherever you work at Holden. There is so much competition
out there in the market that the only way we are going to be
competitive is if the cost is right, so we are going to have to
adjust our business accordingly.
At the same time, we want to make sure that we are
building foundations for the future. We know that people
understand the benefits of large cars and they like them. But
they have to be relevant for the customer who expects good
fuel economy, high levels of safety and quality.
We are doing the right things. Our VE Omega Sportwagon is
the first locally manufactured wagon to receive a maximum five
star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment
Program. Active Fuel Management, LPG, Ethanol into V8
Supercars. These are things that are changing the perception
around large cars. It's not every day that you get the front
page of Wheels with a headline like "Fuel Proof".
People have not fallen out of love with Holden. Last year.
Commodore finished as the best selling car for the 13th
consecutive year! That's something that should give everyone
confidence. What other Australian company would be offered an
hour free to air television program about its 60th Anniversary?
Our locally produced cars are a great foundation for us as we go
fonward. Obviously, we've got to continue to evolve and change
which we now have an opportunity to do with the launch of
Cruze. This is a car off the global Delta platform that is the
same platform that will be localised for production at Elizabeth
at the end of 2010.
For now, we need to focus on the things that we can control,
and we control a lot. There are buyers in the market and there
will be winners and losers. We just have to work really hard
to make sure that we are on the winners list and be proactive.
Standing still is not an option. Looking back is absolutely
counterproductive. We have to accept the environment for
what it is and go fonward with confidence. But we have to be
determined. Every sale counts.
Seasoned People readers will notice a different feel to the pages of
this edition of the magazine. That's because it's printed on different
paper. It is just one of the many things we are doing to reduce costs.
People is different to other Holden publications. It provides us with a
valued opportunity to go backstage, to share news about the people
behind the headlines. We know that mail home is the preferred method
of distribution for the majority of our readers. But tough times call for
tough decisions. We will be relying on the co-operation of designated
agents to help us with manual distribution of this edition and thank
those involved for helping us to get copies to you as quickly as possible.
Please take your copy home to share with friends and family.

CRUZE CONTROL
The first of General Motors' new wave
of global products, the Holden Caize,
received an enthusiastic welcome from
media and patrons at the Melboume
International Motor Show. Cnjze will
enter Australia's fastest growing small
car segment when it goes on sale in
the second quarter of this year
GM Holden Chairman and
Managing Director, Mark Reuss, said
Cruze marked the beginning of a new
era for Holden.
"Cruze will play a significant role in
Holden's future and presents us with
a new generation car. a new design
and a new way of thinking. It is a world
class small car that has the perfect
blend of both style and substance from
the base model right through to the top
of the range," Mark said.
Developed by a global Design and
Engineering team, the Cruze line up
will include CD and CDX models, both
powered by a 1.8 litre 4 cylinder ECOTEC
petrol engine with the choice of a five
speed manual transmission or six speed
automatic transmission with Active Select.
A 2.0 litre common rail turbocharged
diesel engine will be available as an
option on the CD model and will form
part of the Holden EcoLine range.
Executive Director Sales Marketing
and Aftersales, Alan Batey, said Cnjze
represented Holden's commitment to
the small car market.
"The small car market is the
largest growing segment in the
Australian market, and this is our
response to that change. It was a
really big moment when we unveiled
the Holden Cruze at the Motor Show.
This is a seriously good car that
will tick all the boxes from safety,
environment, styling and packaging
perspective," Alan said.

GM Holden's in-house LPG
conversion operation has slashed the
w/aiting time for customers keen to
enjoy the economies of LPG fuelled
Holden Omega, Berlina and 60th
Anniversary vehicles. The process,
previously outsourced to Premoso,
returned to GM Holden control late
last year to create more employment
opportunities for Holden personnel.
Using their experience and knowledge
of vehicle assembly processes, the
current team has improved daily capacity
to 50 cars, including some Police Packs.
Current throughput is around 35 cars
per day, and the turn around time
between leaving and returning to the
Toll release yard for despatch to dealers
is just three days.
Area Leader, Les Victor, believes
further efficiencies can be found.
Already time consuming work
removing and refitting engines has
been avoided by ensuring that holes
required for LPG fitment are drilled
before the engine is fitted on the
production line. The Body Shop team
is now looking at integrating other
access points for hoses and leads
into the underbody.

The simple pleasures of a family
picnic proved the ideal relief from
headlines around fires and finances
for employees in South Australia,
their families and friends. More than
2,000 people turned out for the Social
Club picnic at Angaston Oval last
month. Perfect sunny conditions and
a top temperature of 25 degrees
provided the perfect setting for adults
and children alike to sphnt, throw
water balloons, climb into wheelbarrows
and balance eggs on spoons. Club
Secretary, Don McLeod praised his army
of volunteers, who dolled out drinks and
ice creams to appreciative visitors.
"You couldn't have asked for a better
day. It was just perfect. Aside from the
terrific volunteers, I would like to thank
Toll for carting all the fencing, tables,
and the tower - a full semi trailer load of
equipment up again for us," Don said.

and Recycle
The environment and the bottom line
are both beneficiaries of the latest
recycling programs underway at
Holden Engine Operations.
Employees in the High Feature
V6 Engine plant are responding
to the invitation to separate waste
in a bid to increase recycling and
decrease landfill. New recycling
stations have been built by the
Tool Room team and installed at
convenient locations throughout
Plant 18. The stations house clear
waste collection bags and simple
pictorial guides to which items should
go where. Environmental Engineer,
Simon Renton, said employees were
supportive of the initiative,
"We are asking employees to
separate their waste into four streams:
general waste, a recyclable stream
just like the one they use at home, a
prescribed stream (contaminated) and
a food based stream. It's about people
changing their thinking to make things
happen, Eariy response has been good,"
Simon said.
"We audit the waste that we produce
and have identified the potential to
recycle up to 50 per cent of the waste
that we currently send to landfill,"
he added.
Meanwhile, glove and sand recycling
initiatives are underway in other plants.
The most commonly used protective
gloves are now being laundered and
inspected for re-use saving dollars
and landfill waste. Ben Jones from
Industrial Decontamination Services
was encouraged by the results of the
first collection.
T h e recovery rate was 93 per cent
which is excellent when compared to
most industrial manufacturing sites,"
Ben said.
"At a recycled cost of $1 per
pair, the saving on this batch alone
represents about $2,000, We believe
that with the full site on board and
with staff support we could achieve at
least double this recovery every four
weeks," he said.
Foundry sand used to make the
cores that are part of the production
of hollow components for Family
II engines is also being tested and
separated with the non-prescnbed
sand being sold to a cement company
to substitute for mined sandy loam.
"We are doing everything we
can to cut cost out of the business
and return environmental benefits,"
Simon said.

8. GM Holden Design professionals have
volunteered their personal time to play a
pivotal role in the design and constmction
of a fully functional Showcar that perfomns
like a Fonnula 1 vehicle and is expected
to net millions of dollars for charity. The
FR-1 Program was the brainchild of the
Auto Horizon Foundation in collaboration
with industry and government partners
who donated more than $2.3 million in
research and development funding.
Launched at the Melbourne
International Motor Show, FR-1 is
designed to showcase the innovation,
technology and career opportunities
within the Australian automotive industry.
FR-1 also showcases new developments
in lightweight carbon fibre technologies
that can be utilised, and have a direct
and immediate impact on fuel efficiency.
FR-1 Program Director, Brian Tanti
said industry support was critical to the
success of the project.
"GM Holden personnel and brand
involvement elevated the whole project
to the next level and opened doors to
other companies that were seeing the
work that was being done and wanted
to be involved. GM Holden provided
us with the chtical state of the art math
data that could be used to make other
aspects of the car. It also spurred the
involvement of the Victorian Centre of
Advanced Materials," Brian said.
GM Holden Design Director, Antony
Stolfo (Tony) believes the FR-1 project
has the potential to influence future
developments in lightweight materials as
auto makers seek to produce more fuel
efficient vehicles.
P E O P L E ^ PAGE 8
"While much of the focus is on future i
propulsions - electric, monofuels and i
hydrocarbon, we suggest that simply
reducing weight and reducing critical ;
mass has an immediate impact on fuel
consumption. This is not pie in the sky i
technology, it's readily available now," :
Tony said. I
FR-1 will be auctioned with all •
proceeds donated to the Children's ;
Cancer Foundation, Very Special Kids, |
Challenge Cancer Support Network and j
Handbrake Turn. Brian Tanti said the i
charity auction was just the beginning of j
the project's benefits.
"After the current economic downturn!
passes, there will be a demand for ]
skills and we will be well placed to meet j
that through this, and hopefully future,
projects," Brian said. I
9. Diephuis was one of the Holden
im of FR-1 Project volunteers. He
ilayed a critical role over two years in
^developing a new method of fabncation
of the carbon fibre chassis structure
critical to the lightweight status of FR-1.
"It is extremely rare for designers to
get their hands on a highly engineered
piece of operational stnjcture such as
FR-1. Much of what 1 have done styling
wise was to address the overall forms
as they are seen in all views. This was
a painstaking process t>etween me and
Chief Project Engineer, Russell Gallagher.
We attempted to create a cohesive
hannony, both visually and functionally,
of the chassis itself and of the
components which will be seen,
especially the front suspension. We
spent about 40 per cent of our time
re-working the shapes and geometry
of the fonward billet aluminium A-arms
to get just the right balance, while still
delivering a performance gain over
traditional extnjded steel forms. We
could have easily opted for the off-the
shelf, black-spray painted, A-arms, but
I knew that the FR-1 deserved so much
more. It was a challenge to match what
looks good to what actually works.
I have the utmost respect for
engineering and the type of mind that
drives to simplify things. 1 think that a
project tike this points the way forward
for industry. I hope that others look at it
and see the collaboration that has taken
place. Designers are often labelled
stylists, but designers also have a
trained eye for integrating elements and
creating cohesive relationships among
all the individual parts of a project.
This substance can only be seen
in the end the result of all the effort,
and it is exciting to see it all finally
coming together. With this initial effort,
I hope that others see the work that we
have contributed on FR-1 as more a
comprehensive approach and that the
result is worth the collaborative effort,"
Jesse said.

State Emergency Service volunteer
and father of two, Gerard Kennedy is
no stranger to dangerous and stressful
situations. Last month, he experienced
first hand the devastation caused by the
Black Saturday bushfires that ravaged
the outer Melbourne townships of
Kinglake and Flowerdale.
Now the Controller of his unit, Gerard is
the head person responsible for deploying
and managing his 35 volunteers. It's
a role he has to balance alongside his
paid work as Maintenance Supervisor
at Holden Service Parts Operations in
Dandenong.
"Our role was in the aftermath at the
staging area where one of my fhends
who lived in that area spotted me and
came up and I thought phew, that's one
off the list of missing.
"I am no expert in fire behaviour, but the
speed of that fire was incomprehensible.
In some places It was up to 80kph;
you can't outrun that. It was a scene
of total devastation with literally four or
five kilometres between houses that
survived," Gerard said.
"It sounds funny but in some ways my
role with the SES makes me stress less
at work. Effectively, the decisions I take
at work are not matters of life and death,
but when I am out on shift charge there
are a lot of decisions that I make that are
literally about life and death," he said.

Voluntary service is an important
part of life for ex-Navy radio operator

General Assembly, is Lieutenant of the
Barossa Concordia Brigade of the South
Australian Country Fire Service and his
wife, Diane is Treasurer. He led Steve
Elliot and his crew during their service
in Churchill, Victoha.
"I've seen it all before but not of that
scale, enormity and impact. There was
nothing anyone could do with that fire-
nothing you could put in front of it and
you would have been stupid to put
yourself there," Robert said.
"Holden's support for its volunteers is
huge. I can't thank them enough for
giving me time off for something that
I enjoy doing and needs to be done.
Knowing that I will not be penalised in
any way, financially or other, is really
excellent." Robert said.

Steve Elliot migrated to Australia from
England six years ago and immediately
signed up as a volunteer with the
SACFS in the Williamstown Brigade
of the Barossa Group. His 18 year-old
daughter Jo and son William have also
answered the call and now serve as a
volunteer and cadet respectively.
"It's just part of living in the country and
wanting to feel part of the community,"
Steve, who works on Final II in General
Assembly said.
On the Sunday after Black Saturday.
Steve received a phone call asking him
to join the first South Australian unit to
lend support across the border. After
a couple of phone calls to his boss in
General Assembly, he was set to go.
"We went to Churchill, that is South East
of Melbourne in the Latrobe Valley. The
CFA had done a good job really to put
out and contain the fire. We went down
really to make up the containment. I
was very proud to be part of it. but I also
found it very humbling. The people down
there had just lost their homes, but they
were sitting there thanking us. What
they had to face, you would never want
anyone to go through. I have experience
with fires and know how quickly they can
turn, but I've never before seen anything
like that," Steve said.
"What Holden has done for us as
volunteers is fantastic and long may
they carry on because country towns
and volunteers do need that support,"
Steve said.

New GM CEO Fritz Henderson
shared his perspective on the March
30 announcements by U.S. President
Obama and the Task Force on
Automotive Reconstruction via a
global employee broadcast.
"The administration has made it clear
that it expects GM to expand and
accelerate its restructuring efforts,"
he said.
"We still have too many obligations
that draw on the cash flows of the
company," he explained. The U.S.
Treasury is providing working financing
capital for GM for 60 days while
GM completes a more accelerated
and aggressive restmctuhng. GM is
wori<ing on restnjcturing its financial
obligations to the bond holders, unions
and other stakeholders.
Fritz said that GM will take whatever
steps are necessary to successfully
restnjcture the company, which
could include an expedited court-
supervised process.
Strong products across the entire
vehicle portfolio are a key component
to reinventing GM according to Fritz.
"Every single participant in the
portfolio needs to play a role and
needs to pay the rent," he said.
Products like hybrids and the Volt
may not pay off in the short-term, but
Fhtz believes GM needs to continue
to invest in the technology that gets
us to the future and our position as a
true leader in the global automotive
industry for the next 20 years or more.
"We need to get the consumer back
into the game, and address the fact that
consumers are scared," Fritz said.
"We can survive in the future; we can
create real value, so that General
Motors gets through this, and re-
establish its position as the leader."
During his broadcast, Fritz praised
outgoing Chairman and CEO, Rick
Wagoner, calling him a friend, mentor
and a great leader.
"If you know Rick, you know it was
never about Rick Wagoner; it was
about what was best for the corporation,"
Ftitz said.
Rick Wagoner stepped down from his
role at the request of the administration.

President GM Asia Pacific, Nick Reilly
said the global economic downturn
continued to take its toll in many of the
markets in the region.
"However, we have some very bright
spots such as our Chinese operations
and some great products in the pipeline.
We must continue adjusting our local and
regional business plans in line with the
changing business environment. At the
same time, we must do our part to help
GM overcome the present difficulties
and return to the strong company we
know we can be. That involves taking
advantage of every opportunity to get out
a positive message about our company
and its products, while relentlessly going
after our targets.
"I can assure you that our company is
in good hands with Fritz Henderson as
GM's new CEO. Fritz has tremendous
global experience. I know many of you
worked with him when he served as
President of GM Asia Pacific a few years
ago, I expect that under his leadership
and with the support of the entire GM
family, our company will successfully
address the concerns of the Obama
Administration and point our company in
a positive direction.
"This challenge is certainly a bigger test
than any of us would ask for, but it is
not a bigger test than we can handle.
We owe it to ourselves as well as our
customers and other stakeholders to do
our part to overcome these challenges.
"We have made progress, but we still
have a long way to go as One GM.
Let's all do our best as individuals
to help ensure that we as a team
emerge from this challenging period a
stronger global company," Nick said.

restructuring due to the dramatic
amount of overcapacity that exists.
The brutal reality is that all of us
are in this situation together -
labor, governments, communities,
management - everyone. And all
of us are going to have to work our
way through it.
"But here is another reality. GM
Europe has one of the strongest
product lineups it's ever had. The
Opel Insignia is European Car of
the Year with several new variants
coming this year. And we're making
huge technology investments in
extended range electric vehicles,
alternative fuels, bio fuels, advanced
clean diesel and the like. The product
and brand picture is strong. The issue
is how to structure the operation
to ensure the success of these
products, while sizing our capacity
to the reality of where the overall
market has shrunk.
"As the viability plan states, we've
engaged our labor colleagues to
find a way to $1.2 billion in labor
cost savings that is needed to deal
with the market changes. This is
in addition to the several billion
dollar savings we have achieved
by scrubbing every part of the
business plan for efficiency and
cost reductions. Some key items
that we've executed include: wage
freezes across the company;
salary cuts for executives; no
bonuses; reduction of all inventories
and significant production cuts;
severe cutbacks to marketing and
operational budgets; discretionary
spending cuts and limits in all
operations; the restructuring of our
sales and marketing group; and
working a resolution for Saab, to
name but a few. But there is no easy
pathway. These actions will require
sacrifice and pain from all sides.
That is reality."

Luigi Labruna's official title is Dealer
Claims Co-ordinater, but he could quite
legitimately wear the badge of Holden
Brand Ambassador. Lui, as his work mates
at Holden Service Parts Operations in
Dandenong know him, dresses in Holden
gear seven days a week and like so
many other passionate employees. Lui.
talks Holden. drives Holdens and plays
with Holdens.
In particular he likes to 'play' with the
1984 VK Commodore ex-police pursuit
car that he part owns with close friend,
Tony Wilson. The car features some of the
last remaining parts that Lui has sourced
from all over Australia and New Zealand.
"We've poured about $90,000 into
this car. This year we hope to get around
at Phillip Island. Sandown and race the
quarter mile at Calder Park a few times.
It's time to get some enjoyment back
from all the money we've spent." Lui said.
Speed shouldn't be a problem with
a fuel injected supercharged five litre
engine under the bonnet.
"About five years ago, Holden got rid
of the last of the fuel injected engines.
I found out where they went and how
much they were going for. So we bought
the motor, bought a TREMAC five speed
manual 1,000 horsepower gearbox
and it just went from there and hasn't
stopped yet," he said.
Lui's passion for his old model
Commodore is rivalled only by the
enthusiasm he exudes for the current
VE Commodore range from which he
selected his daily driver, a black SSV
sedan.
"I love VE - you can make them
dance. Holden has put the most thought
into developing a product that is just
unbeatable, especially now with Active
Fuel Management. I just read a report
on an SS with AFM that was driven
from Sydney to Melbourne on one
tank of petrol; 32 miles per gallon. With
technology like that, there's really no
excuse for anyone not to drive the car of
their dreams," Lui said.
Lui's own car doesn't feature AFM but
he's not in a hurry to trade it. Short tenn,
there are other changes afoot though.
"Being a big American car fan I thought
I'd have the best of both worids and fit a
Chev grille and badge. But my mindset
has changed. I work for Holden and 1
should be proud of it and advertise it, so
I have gone back to the Holden badge
and grille," the brand ambassador said.
f o r a c u r eThe quest for a cure for Leukaemia
found support right across the GM
Holden network.
The Leukaemia Foundation is one of
GM Holden's key community partners.
Money raised through the annual appeal
will help the Leukaemia Foundation
to continue providing practical care
and support to patients and families
living with leukaemias, lymphomas,
myeloma and related blood disorders.
It will also fund research into better
treatments and hopefully cures.
Support is provided through
a range of programs, including
the Holden patient transport fleet
and 'home away from home'
accommodation.

Davison's dream debut -For Holden
The 2009 V8 Supercar Championship
Series is underway and the Toll Holden
Racing Team's star recruit, Will Davison
has had a dream debut in red as Holden
has begun its campaign to regain the
VB crown.
Signed over the summer to replace
retiring great Mark Skaife, Will left the
season opening Clipsal 500 in Adelaide
second in series points after two gutsy
performances - a third place finish in the
first 250km leg topped with a second the
following day.
Much to the delight of the legion of
HRT fans, Garth Tender made it a double
podium result for the factory team when
he finished third overall in Sunday's final,
the 2007 VB Supercar Champion having
fought back from a non-finish due to a
steering issue the day prior.
Just one week later at the non-
championship Manufacturer's Challenge
at the 2009 Formula One ING Australian
Grand Prix in Melbourne, Will again
visited the podium with third overall for
the event after finishing all three races
in the top four.
Jason Richards' move to Albury-
based Brad Jones Racing has also
brought immediate results in the new
season - Jason fourth in the spectacular
Team BOC Commodore in Adelaide and
fifth overall in Melbourne.
The Kelly Brothers, Todd and Rick.
have also recorded strong results with
their new family-owned Kelly Racing
team. Rick eighth overall in Adelaide,
Todd top 10 the following week, while
the Enforcer. Russell Ingall showed
why his Supercheap Auto Racing team,
based at the Holden Driving Centre at
Nonwell on the Gold Coast, earned last
season's Most Improved Team award
with ninth overall in Adelaide and a
come from behind third place finish
in Race 3 at Albert Park.
The beginning of the new season
marked a number of major format and
rule changes, but the most notable was
the introduction of E85 ethanol as the
new control fuel for the category.
The switch to E85 was fully supported
by Holden and reflects the commitment
to alternative fuels and fuel saving
technology. The bright and spectacular
HRT Commodores of Will and Garth
will carry significant EcoLine branding
throughout this year's championship,
as too will the Commodores of Jason
Richards, his team-mate Cameron
McConville and the Kelly Brothers.
Wrestling the V8 championship back
for Holden will not be an easy task in
2009, but with a reinvigorated driver
line-up and fresh air of confidence
surrounding the teams it is a task
Holden is well prepared for.
The 2009 VB Supercar Championship
Series again takes in 14 rounds, plus
the non-championship Manufacturer's
Challenge at the Australian Grand Prix in
Melbourne, with Townsville (10-12 July)
and Homebush, Sydney (4-6 December)
hosting new street races.
As you are reading this. Round 2,
the Hamilton 400 will have been run
on the street circuit in Hamilton, New
Zealand, with the series returning to the
traditional race circuits at Winton (Vic)
and Symmons Plains (Tas) in May.

Holder Racing Team Driver
Since joining the Holden Racing Team
I have been constantly amazed at the
passion people have for Holden and its
factory V8 Supercar team. When the
opportunity came up to drive for HRT
late last year I jumped at the chance.
My family has always been inextricably
linked to the company through my
grandfather, Lex Davison, who drove the
first ever Holden officially entered by the
company in a motor racing event with two
other Australian motor racing greats, Stan
Jones and Tony Gaze - a 48-215 in the
1953 Monte Carlo Rally.
But after the last three years driving
for the legendary Dick Johnson, who is
still incredibly popular with the fans, and
watching HRT from a distance, nothing
could have prepared me for when I
proudly put on the Holden shirt.
Regardless of where we have been
over the past few months - Holden
dealers, motor shows, race tracks, or
even just out and about - there has
P E O P L E PAGE 16
always been a sea of red shirts and
caps with Holden fans welcoming me
and wishing the team well.
To be honest, the response has really
blown me away. What has really stood
out is how excited HRT's fans are about
me joining Garth Tander and what lies
ahead for the team this new season.
We really could not have had a better
start, second after the Clipsal 500 with
Garth joining me on the podium - the
first double podium for HRT in two
years - followed by another podium at
the Grand Prix event at Albert Park in
Melbourne just one week later.
For me, it has been a dream debut
having gone into the season with no
pressures or expectations placed on me
by our team manager, Rob Crawford.
Performances like that come down
to the team and how they've welcomed
me with open arms. Garth and Rob
in particular, the work thafs gone on
behind the scenes and the desire within
the team for the Holden Racing Team to
return to its #1 status in V8 Supercars.
