To JCROA,18to 20 thousand rickshaws&35000 rickshaw pullers.• 15 owners-10500 rickshaws; another 235-10000.• 2 owners jointly own 7000&2000 ric. Respectively and are called RICKSHAW KINGS of Jaipur.

  13. 13. LEGAL ASPECT• First law formed-1959.• 1971,law passed, detailing 1 person pulling other as inhuman & on plea of N.R.L.U state bank SBBJ offered loan to make rickshaw pullers, the owners.• Bylaw passed banning renting ,1978.On grounds of SAFETY&HUMAN HEALTH.• Reinstated in 2003.
