IBAT College offer the following courses to international students: • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) • MA in Global Entrepreneurship – Both Masters, Bachelor degree required, (full) 12 months in duration, no experience required but aptitude to start a business/business idea for Entrepreneurship • Pre Masters Diploma in Management – Academic Year, suitable for candidates with an Ordinary degree allowing entry to Masters • Higher Certificate in Business – Equivalent to first two years of honours degree, students mix with Bachelor degree/hons degree students

Allows entry to degree programme • English Language (General English, IELTS & Cambridge) – Tied into TLG - English programmes commencing every Monday

Working in Ireland – Students can work up to 20 hours per week part-time while studying and up to 40 hours per week during holiday period – Minimum wage in Ireland - €8.65 – Graduate Visa Scheme allows students to work full-time for up to 12 months on completion of their studies. (Level 7 graduates - 6 months, level 8 & 9 graduates -12 months). Graduates can also apply for a green card/work permit. – Jobs in IT, Management, Accounts and Business Analysis are popular choices for graduates in companies like Accenture, Google, Apple and Microsoft

Salaries – The average starting salary for a business graduate is €25,000 – Those holding a post-graduate qualifications can expect to earn over €30,000 – MBA graduates, combined with their work experience can expect to earn between €40,000 and €60,000, depending on the industry – The overall average salary in Ireland is €36,000

  25. 25. Key Visa File Considerations • Demonstrate that the Student is a bone fide student, primary intent is to travel to Ireland to study. The intended programme of study is consistent with prior educational achievement and he/she can afford to do so! • Academic Criteria – Meets Academic & English Language criteria to follow intended programme • Financial Criteria – Pay tuition fees in full in advance – Demonstrate a minimum of €7K per year of study in liquid assets – Ability to afford 7K per year on top of regular household outgoings – Lump sum lodgements must be FULLY explained (eg sale of land) • Student Profile – Intended programme is a natural extension of prior studies – No Gaps in CV, any explained thoroughly – Profile is consistent with a candidate that will travel to Ireland to study and has a reasonably compelling reason to return to their home country.
