UCLA Television Film & Theatre/US Performing Arts – Sitcom Acting - In Collaboration with the Sitcom Writing/Producing Workshop and under the guidance of a seasoned director (In 2013 it was two time Emmy™ winning Actress Conchata Ferrell) students are guided through a sitcom episode from table read to taping. They learn the fundamentals of character development, physical comedy and timing as well as how to rework a scene and add new dialogue on the fly. Production is done in one of the Melnitz Hall TV studios at the School of Theater, Film and Television. American Academy of Dramatic Arts (A.A.D.A) – Conservatory for Young Actors - The Academy's Conservatory for Young Actors (ACYA) is a four-week summer intensive for students ages 12-16.
