  • Translation occurs in cytoplasm 3-base sequence on tRNA called anticodon binds to a complementary codon in the mRNA covered by a ribosome; the tRNA is also attached by a specific amino acid the base sequence of an anticodon is the same as the base sequence of a triplet except thymine replaced by uracil in the anticodon
