On June 1, 2011, McHale became the head coach for the Houston Rockets

He came back to Minnesota Timberwolves because he
loves his home town. He always knew he was going to come
back to Minnesota. He want to do something for his home
town. He said:" There is no other place that I would like to
spend most of my time. I just know I am at home."
