  2. 2. Great-great-grandparents and Great-grandparents<br />Great-great-grandparents Felipe Aguirre and Maria Palma were born in the mid 1800s in Mexico.<br />Great Grandparents Timoteo Aguirre and Juanita Saldaña were born in 1895 in San Francisco del Rincon, Guanajuato, Mexico.<br />

Great-grandparents<br />In 1909, my great-grandfather, Timoteo Aguirre migrated to the United States.<br />He then came back to Mexico marry my great-grandmother Juanita Saldaña in 1920.<br />After their marriage, my great-grandparents migrated back to the United States and resided in Kansas.<br />
  4. 4. Work in the United States<br />My great-grandfather, Timoteo, got a job for the railroad and worked in the round house, where they fixed the motors of the trains, for the company Rock Island Railroad.<br />

Starting a Family<br />My great-grandparents Timoteo and Juanita raised a family of four children, three boys and one girl.<br />My grandfather Benito Aguirre was the youngest of the boys and was born in 1927 in Herington, Kansas.<br />In the 1930’s my grandfather and his family moved back to Mexico.<br />
  6. 6. Grandparents<br />My grandmother, Amalia Garcia, was born in 1939 in La Rivera, Jalisco, Mexico.<br />In 1943, my grandfather, Benito, moved back to the United States and moved to Merced, California.<br />

Grandparents<br />When in the United States, my grandfather got a job with Union Pacific Railroad, where he worked with the trains.<br />In 1947, my grandfather moved to Las Angeles, California.<br />In 1953, my grandfather met my grandmother.<br />In 1954, my grandparents got married in Carson City, Nevada.<br />
  8. 8. Starting a family<br />My grandparents raised a family of five children, four boys and one girl.<br />My father, Benito Aguirre Jr., was born in 1958 in Los Angeles California and was the second oldest of the five children.<br />In 1993, my grandparents moved to Pomona, California.<br />
  9. 9. Parents<br />My mother, Angelica Muñoz, was born in 1967 in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico.<br />In 1883 my mother came to the United States and moved to Los Angeles.<br />
  10. 10. Parents<br />In 1985, my parents met in a Los Angeles meat market.<br />In 1986, my parents got married in Los Angeles.<br />In 1989, after two years living with my grandparents in Pomona, my parents moved to Chino, California.<br />
  11. 11. Starting a Family<br />My parents raised a family of five children, two boys and three girls.<br />I was born on December 28, 1990 in Anaheim, California.<br />As to this day I still live in Chino.<br />
