  • RAPID RAMP-UP Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is a customer we have been supporting since 1996. We have been active in 4 major DLA programs. This included a full network inventory for all DLA Distribution Centers around the world This slide talks to the RAMP UP required for the DLA Enterprise Data Center Consolidation Program. Our task was to identify a location in the U.S. to place a NSOC and staff it – and oh by the way – up and running in 45-days. ICS determined Dearborn Michigan was the right location, ramped up all NSOC systems and staffed it with 50-cleared people in 30-days. We continue to delight this customer and this program is growing. ICS is lead on most aspects of IA for the DLA EDC program.
  • SPEED &amp; AGILITY We have a long history supporting Transportation with IA solution delivery 2 yrs ago Transportation - preparing 2 move all Ops into a new facility in DC GSA had under-engineered the specs for a Data Center with 9-foot ceilings and ½ the required power You can imagine putting 7-foot racks and a raised floor into a 9-foot clearance! The customer had a non-movable deadline of June 30 2007 – or face $5M/month penalties -- It’s the fall of 2006! With the customer scrambling – ICS proposed moving DOT servers into our HQ Data Center in Frederick, MD – 50 miles NW of the new facility December 28, 2006 ICS awarded the migration of DOT into our Data Center ICS added 200 tons of A/C – doubled power into the bldg – installed OC-192 pipe – installed 2 mammoth diesel generators in the parking lot, secured a 2 nd TELCO carrier for redundancy Once this was completed, ICS supported the installation of nearly 200 racks and 700 servers, hardened the systems, and stood up a new NSOC for the customer Customer fully operational in the ICS facility before deadline! No penalties! ICS offers this as a service to the customer: physical &amp; access control, environmentals, NSOC, and other services, while customer manages data center. Only possible through close relationship w/ Customer - We proved Speed &amp; Agility
  • PERFORMANCE FOR GROWTH ICS has been supporting DHS for a number of years We were originally hosting their C&amp;A online tools – accessible to their people over the web Based on this performance – ICS awarded development of C&amp;A methodology Based on this performance – ICS awarded ISSO positions and direct support of DHS Enterprise Architecture Based on excellent performance, ICS awarded program to support all C&amp;A and FISMA reporting – We are the source of DHS reporting to Congress and other agencies ICS growth continues based on excellent record of delighting this customer Customer Service and Performance matters to ICS!
  • WORLDWIDE CAPABILITIES ICS has been supporting this Customer for over 16 years. Initial support was network development – helped build out much of the network hardware As ICS transitioned focus to services, ICS ramped up to support Customer worldwide Current support includes full spectrum of services -- network engineering, IA, SATCOM, COMSEC, etc We are the major player supporting this customer Each year this program grows – the life of the program so far is in excess of $120M. This Customer is highly visible and tempo is fast – ICS has deep understanding of what it takes to deploy and support worldwide resources
