• UNDP - call for RFP on the Social Analysis on ASM in Ghana
– ASMAN and AMN were interested in teaming together. AMN didn’t have a
research Team. So we are putting one together on a stand by. Volunteers
are invited.
• MOF – follow up engagement questionnaire for assisting them in their research
– THE EFFECT OF SMALL SCALE MINING (INCLUDING ILLEGAL MINING) ON AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVITY IN
GHANA- CONFLICTS, CONTROVERSIES AND RESOLUTION OF LAND USE SYSTEMS AND FOOD SECURITY IN
FOREST AREAS OF GHANA
• IIED call for EOI on the country Convenor for a dialogue on ASM
• AMN is planning on bidding but we need a team
• WORLD BANK – Int. Federation of Red Cross and Red
Crescent, Global Road Safety Partnership are calling for a concept
paper on Road Safety. AMN’s concept is to transfer the successful
safety practices in the mines to the city and is thus looking forward
to working on it.
