  1. 1.    Special Edition honoring Louis Dellamonica winners for 2012                                                          Click  to  Enlarge  Click  to  Enlarge  Click  to  Enlarge  Click  to  Enlarge    Foley  selected  as  2012  Dellamonica  winner    REDSTONE  ARSENAL,  Ala.  -­‐-­‐  The  U.S.  Army  Materiel  Command  recently  announced  the  2012  Louis  Dellamonica  awards  winners,  recognizing  the  best  employees  in  the  command.  Only  one  was  chosen  to  represent  the  headquarters  staff.            Dellamonica  winner  humble  in  his  accomplishments  REDSTONE  ARSENAL,  Ala.  -­‐-­‐  When  Scott  Phillips  first  heard  the  news  that  he  was  a  2012  Dellamonica  awardee,  he  almost  didnt  believe  it.  "That  was  quite  a  surprise,"  said  Phillips,  branch  chief  for  Army,  Interservice  and  FMS  aircraft  components  at  AMCOM.  "I  didnt  even  realize  I  had  been  nominated  for  that."            Click  to  Enlarge  Weapon  system  reliability  chief  honored  as  2012  Dellamonica  Award  winner  REDSTONE  ARSENAL,  Ala.  -­‐-­‐  The  U.S.  Army  Materiel  Command  prides  itself  on  providing  the  equipment  and  materiel  Soldiers  require  to  accomplish  their  mission  -­‐-­‐  anytime,  anyplace  in  the  world.  Its  those  Soldiers  -­‐-­‐  the  men  and  women  in  uniform  -­‐-­‐  that  motivate  one  exceptional  AMC  employee  to  excel.            SDDC  employee  recipient  of  Dellamonica  Award  SCOTT  AIR  FORCE  BASE,  Ill.  -­‐-­‐  Jamie  Hagemeyer  of  Military  Surface  Deployment  and  Distribution  Commands  Global  Container  Management  Office  was  named  one  of  the  recipients  of  the  2012  Louis  Dellamonica  Award  for  Outstanding  U.S.  Army  Materiel  Command  Personnel  of  the  Year.              ARL  scientist  receives  prestigious  AMC  award  REDSTONE  ARSENAL,  Ala.  -­‐-­‐  William  Glodek,  a  computer  scientist  in  the  U.S.  Army  Research  Laboratorys  Computational  and  Information  Sciences  Directorate,  Network  Security  Branch,  was  recently  selected  as  one  of  the  winners  of  the  2012  Louis  Dellamonica  Award  for  Outstanding  Army  Material  Command  Personnel  of  the  Year.  Friday,  May  31,  2013    
  2. 2.                                                    Friday,  May  31,  2013    Click  to  Enlarge  Click  to  Enlarge  CECOM  civilian  is  recipient  of  prestigious  Louis  Dellamonica  Award  ABERDEEN  PROVING  GROUND,  Md.  -­‐-­‐  The  CECOM  Software  Engineering  Center  at  Fort  Lee  congratulated,  William  R.  Clement,  Jr.,  2012  recipient  of  the  Army  Materiel  Commands  Louis  Dellamonica  Award  for  Outstanding  Personnel  of  the  Year.  ACC  employees  earn  AMCs  2012  Dellamonica  Awards  ABERDEEN  PROVING  GROUND,  Md.  -­‐-­‐  Clay  Socha  and  Gloria  Golden,  Army  Contracting  Command  -­‐-­‐  Aberdeen  Proving  Ground,  have  been  selected  by  the  Army  Materiel  Command  for  the  2012  Louis  Dellamonica  Award  for  Outstanding  Personnel  of  the  Year.  TACOM  workforce  garners  two  Dellamonica  Awards  WARREN,  Mich.  -­‐-­‐  The  TACOM  Life  Cycle  Management  Command  (LCMC)  is  proud  to  have  two  recipients  of  the  Louis  Dellamonica  Award  for  Outstanding  Army  Materiel  Command  Personnel  of  the  Year.    AMC  deputy  commander  visits  Natick  NATICK,  Mass.  -­‐-­‐  The  deputy  commanding  general  of  Army  Materiel  Command  got  a  close  look  at  the  many  things  that  Natick  Soldier  Systems  Center  does  each  day  for  the  joint  warfighter  during  a  May  24  visit  to  the  installation.            Soldiers  learn  from  combat  vehicle  experts  ANNISTON  ARMY  DEPOT,  Ala.    -­‐-­‐  More  than  70  Soldiers  from  the  900th  Component  Repair  Company,  headquartered  in  Brundidge,  Ala.,  spent  their  annual  training  learning  from  the  combat  vehicle  specialists  at  Anniston  Army  Depot.                                                            Army  explores  futuristic  uniform  for  SOCOM  ABERDEEN  PROVING  GROUND,  Md.  -­‐-­‐  Army  researchers  are  responding  to  a  request  from  the  U.S.  Special  Operations  Command  for  technologies  to  help  develop  a  revolutionary  Tactical  Assault  Light  Operator  Suit.  Demining  efforts  improve  technology  and  safety  of  Thai  borders  FORT  BELVOIR,  Va.  -­‐-­‐  Landmines  and  unexploded  ordnance  are  found  throughout  the  world,  often  in  peaceful  countries  leftover  from  conflict  decades  ago.    Researchers  from  the  U.S.  Army  Research,  Development  and  Engineering  Commands  communications-­‐electronics  center,  are  continuing  global  humanitarian  demining  efforts.                                                                                    Hagel,  Carter  discuss  cooperation  with  Tunisian  leader  Secretary  to  visit  Singapore,  Brussels  on  upcoming  trip  DOD  adds  peer  chat  support  for  sexual  assault  victims  Army  SMA  joins  veterans,  families  for  Memorial  Day  ceremony  in  Texas
