Abstract The study conducted in the South Comoé region is intended as a contribution to the reflection on the fight against growing drugs trafficking in Côte d'Ivoire, in the artisanal fishing sector. The scope of this work is to show how traffickers, thanks to their cultural and economic characteristics, maintain social representations and strategies favorable to the development of trafficking in the region.
