Veneer Training Centre (VTC) • Partners Woodsland, ACIAR, FSIV, GIZ/GFA • Goal - A new training centre for use of veneer in furniture production is established and operational. - The competitiveness of Woodsland and other involved companies of ACIAR veneer project are strengthened by the training of skilled workers and middle management in the manufacture, use and quality control of veneer for furniture or structural elements production. • Public Private Partnership (PPP) Approach Business and development policy have a common interest in structuring political, legal and social framework conditions which promote development. Under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) concept, private- sector companies and public-sector development cooperation work hand in hand. The target-oriented combination of the different strengths of the two partners creates new possibilities for positive development
