We Deliver Brunetti Anthony Midterm

 1. 1. We Deliver Business Plan
 2. 2. Mission Statement

We Deliver wants to be a household name. We want to be used everyday by members of the community.

Our main goal is to have a healthy, successful company that is a leader in customer service with a loyal customer base.

 3. 3. General Company Description

We Deliver is a delivery company unlike other delivery services. We provide the Maspeth/Middle Village community with a needed service. Deliveries include fast food, dry cleaning, groceries, mail, etc.

What was once “pick up” only, we deliver!

 4. 4. Business Philosophy

What is extremely important to us is simple…

We want fast, efficient, and excellent customer service

We understand that our customers will be the one keeping us in business, we will meet all of our customers expectations with their delivery needs.

 5. 5. Company Goals and Objectives

We Deliver wants to be a household name. We want to be used everyday by members of the community.

Our main goal is to have a healthy, successful company that is a leader in customer service with a loyal customer base.

 6. 6. Industry

Our industry is delivery. We understand that there are numerous delivery companies such as the USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, etc. We Deliver goes a step further, separating us from the pack. We deliver what everyone else can, and what the others don’t.

 7. 7. Products and Services

Basically whatever can be delivered, we will deliver.

- For example if you want fast food from a local Wendy’s or dry cleaning from the dry cleaner 3 miles from your house we will deliver it.

- You call us and give us your address and explain to us what you need delivered, we then go over what was asked just to be clear, along with pricing.

 8. 8. Products and Services cont.

Here at We Deliver we are essentially your errand workers. For whatever reason you can’t pick something up, or drop something off we step in to lend a hand. We give you more time to spend life doing what you want to do.

Major Services

Delivery Specialists

Customer Service

Efficiency

 9. 9. Competitive Advantages

We Delivers’ main goal is extraordinary customer service. We understand that we will be dealing with a wide variety of people from teenagers to the elderly. What some people may find to be lazy or too much of a hassle, here we do not judge anyone with any service they need to be delivered. We are just here to satisfy the needs of our customers.

Here at We Deliver our workers will consist of members of the community. We are employing people who live within the delivery area, who are familiar with the towns, and communities they are working in as well as the people.

 10. 10. Marketing plan

Research

Research has shown that most fast food eateries such as Wendy’s, McDonalds, and Burger King in Maspeth and Middle Village do not deliver. Also certain Pizza parlors do not deliver along with numerous restaurants. Besides food services, most dry cleaners do not deliver either.

Of course on the other hand many other restaurants do deliver, and these establishments we cannot compete with because they deliver the service needed free of charge or cheaper than what we charge. We are not focusing on these companies, nor are we worried about these companies.

The number of establishments that don’t deliver outweigh the number of establishments that do, and this is where we can step in and help.

 11. 11. Population of Market

We understand that not everyone will use our service, but we will build our customer base. In Maspeth and Middle Village there are over 50,000 residents.

Once our potential is realized throughout the community We Delivers’ popularity should grow. We can grow, especially when our company becomes a household name.

 12. 12. Marketing Strategy

Within the community, flyers will be distributed and posted wherever available. We want to inform people that they no longer have to stop what they’re doing or go out of their way to go out and get the food they’re craving. We have long hours and knowledgeable personnel.

Flyers and posters will be used because we are servicing a relatively small area compared to other companies. Flyers and poster are cheap and effective ways of advertising. To build our customer base we also take out ads in local papers, church bulletins, etc. This is slightly more expensive but just as effective. $3000 will be needed to promote the company's’ image

Because we are a service, word of mouth will be a number one contributor to growing out customer base.

 13. 13. Hours and Pricing

Our hours are 7AM-12AM. We are figuring that people can use us early in the morning for breakfast or laundry and late at night for snacks, and pharmacy pick ups. 7-12 gives We Deliver an advantage of being available for the better part of a full day for all of our customers.

The price we charge is $8, this includes services, delivery and gratuity. The price may seem high, but we are saving customers time out of their day. We are hoping customers make their decision to use our services based on quality of life, not money.

Memberships can also be bought where your $8 charge can be decreased to $6. Also, every 5 deliveries from We Deliver warrants you a free 6 th delivery.

 14. 14. Location

Because I will be running this company with my fiancé, and it is a delivery service, there is no need for a rented or bought space. We can run the business from our home. This will save us money either up front or each month since there is no need to go outside of our home looking for a new setup for We Deliver.

 15. 15. Startup Expenses

An astrological amount of money is not needed to start up We Deliver. To be safe I feel that $10,000 will be sufficient to start up the business. $3000 is our initial advertising of the business. $1000 will be for new lines, cell phones and cell phone plan payments for our employees. $1000 will be for employee bicycles. The remaining $5000 will be for payroll, until we start growing our customer base and running efficiently on our own from our profits.

To start the company will consists of 5-7 employees.

2 call takers/dispatchers and 3 delivery workers.

There are 5 people on staff but only 3 that will actually be getting paid. My fiancé and I will be working to establish the business first, and will collect on profits once the company is up and running.

 16. 16. Startup Expenses 2

3 workers will be getting paid $5 per hours plus they keep their tips ($2 of the $8 charge). We have 2 full time workers and 1 part time worker.

$40 per hour for the full time delivery workers and $20 for the part time delivery worker is needed each day. $100 each day just for the workers is needed.

 17. 17. Financial Plan

To cover employee payroll each day We Deliver needs to complete 13 deliveries per day. That does not seem like much but may be in the beginning of the company's life.

We Deliver is open 17 hours a day, worst case scenario we are expecting to average 13 delivers each day for the 1 st month, and worst case scenario expecting only to grow by 3 customer a day each month. If this is true we will be making a profit of over $37,00 for the first year.
