What if I do not have command over English language?
▪ English like any other language is a medium of communication. Out of 195
countries in the world 67 countries have English as “primary/official language”
and in 27 countries English is spoken as „secondary language”
▪ With no command over English the following can be the practical impact :
- As English is a global language and if you are looking forward to serving Global
and multinational companies, you will find it difficult to nail the “Recruitment &
selection Round” where communication is the key.
- Lack of command over English Language may affect your personality because
you may feel inferior and low for inability to communicate in English in crowd
- Your scopes and opportunities in your CAREER will be reduced
- Without proper pronunciation of English words, we sound unconfident and
unacceptable many times.
- Many have struggled, many are still struggling, I am sure, you do not want to be
one of them.

Myths while learning English Communication
 If we are non native speakers of English, we can never be fluent
 We must learn translating Our regional language to English to become
a fluent speaker
 Speaking English fast is fluency
 Only English medium students speak English well and are fluent
 I must visit and travel abroad to speak like British & American

What Stops us and what do we think
 We shall be humiliated if we speak in public
 I do not have words to express and right grammar to frame sentence
 If we do not speak correct English, People around us will laugh at us
 Acquiring English language skill is not possible or very difficult for a
grown up Person
 Only school going children can learn English faster, we can not
 English is not required for talented student
 I am from State board, I can‟t speak English well
 “ग्रेजुएशन ख़तम होने में बहुत वक़्त है ,सीख ऱेंगे फाइनऱ ईयर में ”

What Should be the practical approach?
 Beginners should focus more on communicating, than on grammar
 Learn phrases and speak in pieces
 Stop harboring a feeling that I shall be humiliated if I don't speak
Correct English
 One article a day
 Master one English song in a week
 3 stories a day
 AND the List continues……………

How long does it take to acquire English
Speaking ability
With sincere efforts and regular intervention and under expert or
mentor‟ s supervision you can start speaking English confidently
within 1.5 months.
