  2. 2. Objective of TrainingTo increase capacity of partner extension staff andfarmers in order to implement improved technology.So CSISA-WorldFish provides training for- Partner Extension staff and- Farmer

Programmatic thinking• How can we develop a need based training program forthe farmer• How effectively the training program implemented inthe field• How can we ensure the farmers’ participation in thetraining session• How competently we can address /plan forimplementing the program in future• How efficiently we address Gender issue in the training• How can we complete the steps without additionalburden of the project staff

Partners’ Extension Staff Training• 6 days long Training of Trainers (ToT) Course on Extensionand Aquaculture• 3 days long refresher course in following year.The curriculum of the course developed following CSISA-WorldFish implemented Technology.54 Trained staff of 10 partners are working in six hubs atpresent.

Farmers Training planningThink about• How our farmer will learn• Which materials will be appropriate for the training• What will be the role of the facilitators’• Which technique can be applied for the target group• How the training will be able to change farmersKnowledge Attitude Skill (KAS)
  6. 6. Training materials• make the training session easy understandable tothe target group.• Increase participation in the training• make the session interesting & attractive• increase capacity of the participants
  7. 7. Development Concept• Identify appropriate training materials fordifferent groups•Developed training materials based on targetgroup (Simple language, colorful, authentic,etc.)• Select right materials for different group orevents
