  3. 3. Definition & Function : refers to a service that allows conferencing events to be shared with remote locations. general the service is made possible by Internet technologies, particularly on TCP/IP connections

Service provided: The service allows real-time point-to-point communications as well as multicast communications from one sender to many receivers, It also offers information of text-based messages, voice and video chat to be shared simultaneously, across geographically dispersed locations.

Cont..  Reduce Cost of Travel :it’s not necessary for the meeting participants to travel from one country to another for the meetings, with web conferencing they can meet with many people by using the technology instead of being physically there.  - Enhance Security: this mean that each participant in the meeting has his own ID password for hosting meetings  - Add Flexibility : each member of the meeting can work from his office and be comfortable instead of being in the conferencing rooms.  - View, edit and share documents online: Any member in the meeting can share any file with other members, or look over an Excel file with the accounting department. Also, any member can make edits to any files or documents when necessary.
