The Clients <ul><li>Walk-in clients – IRRI staff, students and faculty from UP and other universities, researchers from other organizations, the public </li></ul><ul><li>Everyone is welcome to use our facilities as long as space permits </li></ul><ul><li>Remote clients – Scientists from more than 40 countries all over the world are the recipients of our services . </li></ul>

  5. 5. Resources – Other Subjects <ul><li>Aside from rice, publications on agriculture and related subjects in the social, natural and applied sciences are also available </li></ul>

Monographs <ul><li>159,000+ volumes of books, pamphlets and reprints </li></ul><ul><li>classified according to the Library of Congress (LC) Classification System with slight modifications to cover all aspects of the subject “rice” </li></ul><ul><li>filed in the Book Stacks (lower level) </li></ul>
