  1. 1. In this presentation, I will be talking to you about the uses of plants in our daily life. Uses of Plants
  2. 2. <ul><li>Below is the list of uses of a plant: </li></ul><ul><li>1 ) It is used in food chains as the producer. </li></ul><ul><li>2) Plants have the ability to produce oxygen during day time by the process of Photosynthesis. </li></ul><ul><li>3) Plants can be used as a way to prevent soil erosion. </li></ul><ul><li>4) Plants can also supply us with its fruits. </li></ul><ul><li>5 ) By planting plants and afterwards selling them can bring some profit to someone. </li></ul><ul><li>6) Plants can be used as medicines. </li></ul>List of uses of a plant
  3. 3. <ul><li>Thanks to the sunlight that it receives, a plant can manufacture it’s own food. Therefore, herbivores and omnivores animals can eat them </li></ul><ul><li>This will then help a food chain or food web to maintain its flow. </li></ul>Plant as a producer
  4. 4. <ul><li>Due to the process of Photosynthesis, which involves the intake of water , Carbon- Dioxide and Sunlight by a plant, it can produce Glucose and Oxygen, an essential gas to Human Beings and Animals. </li></ul>Oxygen
  5. 5. Prevention against Soil Erosion <ul><li>When a plant is being planted near a cliff, it will prevent the soil from falling, as the plant’s root will hold on the soil, especially during a period of flooding. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Apart from its green leaf, plants can also supply us with its fruit. There is a big variety of fruits. </li></ul><ul><li>They are all very safe to the health as they supply us with a lot of Vitamins. </li></ul>Variety of fruits
  7. 7. <ul><li>A planter or farmer can make a lot of money by selling the plants in the market. Although it is rather tough to look after a huge amount of plants everyday, it can give a satisfactory result when they are all grown up. </li></ul>Money Making

  9. 9. My conclusion <ul><li>I will conclude by saying that plants can be very helpful to human beings and that everybody should be encouraged to plant more and more plants everyday and that they should also respect them. </li></ul>
