We firstly open the image on toPhotoshop to be edited. We then used the clone stamp tool to cause the artists face to appear flawless by removing any marks and blemishes, we did this by firstly selecting a part of the artist face which was clear, and then using the clone tool to clone any parts of the artist face which had flaws using the selected part.
We thenselectedthe artistfaceusingthe pentool.Havingselectedthe artistsface wemade aselectionin order tocause thesurface tobecomesmoother.
We then began to try and test different effects, having tried a number of differenteffects we decided to settle for the dark strokes effect as we felt it made ourimage look very effective and proffesional.DARK STROKES EFFECT
For the artists name we used the same font we had used on the cover. As aresult of this it was already saved in the documents, therefore we just had tochange the colour of the font to white by using the paint bucket tool andoverlap it on to our original image.
First of all we opened a CD template from which we removed thebackground using the magic wand tool.
We then opened the image we would use for the CD and removed any flawsby using the clone stamp tool
We then used the spot healing brush to smoothen the skin on the lips as they werequite dry and therefore jeopardised the professionalism of our image.
We then selected the lips using the pen tool, having selected the lips wechanged the colour of them to purple using the hue/saturation tool. We didthis because purple depicts passion a significant element within our video.
We then selected the clothing and changed the colour of parts of the clothes to purple,we did this to cause the lip colour and clothing to match and again to representpassion.
We then began to test and trial different effects in order to find an effect that wouldeffectively create the ambience we wanted it. We continued to test and trial effectsuntil we eventually found the effect we desired.
