Risk assessment
1. Robert Myers and Adam Burford, Daft Punk Technologic music video Risk assessment
2. Equipment safety Use the tripod to eliminate the risk of dropping the camera, and decrease the chance of any damage being done to it. No recording in the rain, unless the camera has a cover. When it is not in use, keep the camera in its bag. Handle camera with care, do not throw equipment about. Store costumes and other props properly, to avoid any damage coming to them.
3. Personal safety Act sensibly when filming, especially when filming outside. Take extra care when filming near roads. Be careful when handling electrical equipment. When not filming, do not wear costumes, as they will obstruct vision somewhat.
4. General risks to the progress of the video Actors could be late to a filming session, or completely absent, for a variety of reasons. Costumes, props and/or equipment could get damaged, if not handled appropriately. Weather could be an issue at times, check what the weather is going to be like on a day of filming, before filming starts. Remember to book and collect camera and equipment, ahead of filming days, in order to have the equipment ready before hand. Schedule filming days in advance, to ensure that actors and crew know where to be, and on what day at what time.
