I had breast cancer in my late 20s (no typical risk factors and no family history). Now that I’m just over 40 (and thankfully still here) I’m reading about all of these plants/foods that have cancer fighting properties. Wish I would have known some of this back then. I was just reading about various types of mushrooms and their ability to prevent and fight cancer. Now I’ll be researching peaches and laetrile a bit more. Thanks for sharing this.   9. 9. Post: Six Packs Are Overrated Comment: Great post. Not only are six packs overrated, they can be unhealthy as well. Women need at least 8% fat to be healthy and really should maintain at least 12% to be in good health, and getting to 12% is difficult. I want to spend time with my family and not be so hectic every day after work…but, I want to train and be ripped. Such a tough place to be in. I am trying to make it all fit into my schedule and tweaking my workouts to be more “fun” based – like boxing, mountain biking, surfing…but then I miss lifting. Trust me it’s not having children because I have proof I look awesome after having my second child with my shirt tucked in too. I think I have gave yoyoing dieting and body resizing a new image. So inevitably I go online to find a solution. This post was a good read and I really hope that I can go back and do something about getting back to my old self.
