  • 7. In October 2010 grounds in Haiti were flooded due to a number of reason and with it was a lot of effects.CAUSES OF FLOODING IN HAITI Hurricanes - TOMAS Land slippages - DEFORESTATION Poor management of land - IRRIGATION
  • 8. • EFFECTS – Lost of lives and properties – Diseases which will eventually lead to death – Damage to infrastructure – Social effects
  • 9. In September of this year TropicalStorm Nicole affected Jamaica whichtriggered flooding in many of theflood prone areas in the country. Thestorm left eight people dead.
