  • 35. Writing Chinese Characters
Pick 5 Words that You’d love to write today.
    Then…let’s learn how to write/draw them 
  • 36. Writing Chinese Characters
    Stroke Order
    Two basic rules are followed:
    Top  bottom
    Left  right
Additional rules then these 2 rules conflicts:
Horizontal strokes intersecting vertical strokes 十
Left vertical stroke (usually) before top horizontal stroke 四
    Left-falling strokes  right-falling strokes 九
Bottom horizontal stroke at last 四
    Center stroke  wings 小
A final rule can contradict the others:
    Minor strokes (often) last 我
  • 37. Writing Chinese Characters
    Component Order
Most Chinese characters are combinations of simpler, component characters. 思, 男, 你, 好
    Top bottom or left right.
When one component is at the bottom-left, and the other at the top-right, the top-right component is sometimes written first. 运
